To access this service, currently, you must enter through the HETS Virtual Plaza website.
Enter the following web address www.virtualplaza.org in your browser and click “go”.
Once you are at the Virtual Plaza website, scroll down and look under “Student Placita” and then, right under Student Placita is “Student Support”.
Under Student Support you will find “Testing and Research”.
Click on “Testing and Research”.
If you are entering for the first time you must provide the required information. Your email address is key as it is how the system will communicate with you when necessary.Once you have completed the information requested, click “Click to Continue”. When you do this you will open a page that briefly explains the Testing and Education Reference Center.Beneath will be a listing of member colleges.
Click on (Your College’s Name).
You will open a separate “INFOTRAC” window. Here you must enter the (College Name) password. Next, enter (Code specific to member-college). Do not use capitol letters, the system is case sensitive.
You should be at the Testing and Education Reference Center’s home page.
Click the “Test Preparation” heading at the upper right side of the page.
You will see a listing of all of the tests that you can access with this service.
Click the test you wish to practice or review.
You will open a screen that provides a general introduction and has two (2) columns.The first is the Online Practice Test column.
The second column is the Online Books column. Here you will see an image of the books that are available, free of charge, to help you prepare for the exam. The books can be viewed, or printed, with Adobe Reader. Do not print the entire book. They are usually very, very large books. You may want to print a few pages, as you need them.
Click on to “take test now!” when you wish to take the practice exam.
If you are taking an exam for the first time, you will have to register.Once you take the exam your 90 day clock starts running.
Faculty & Staff: Feel free to go into different test pages and explore the Online Books. This will familiarize you with the process and you will be better able to help students access and use the site. Remember, there is no charge to you or the student.
