Since January2006, I’ve had the opportunity to officially perform as HETS Executive Director, focusing in serving an organization that has been an important part of my professional life for many years. I am even more motivated knowing that I have the responsibility of guiding an organization with a great potential of creating significant efforts to benefit institutions in charge of the future of thousands of students. I am proud to be part of an organization that believes in collaboration, synergies, and alliances for the improvement education.  These alliances are capable of providing the necessary access to innovations, cost-effective opportunities, and wider opportunities. This is why we believe in the power of collaboration and synergies, and this is precisely one of the greatest characteristics of this organization. However, this would not be able to be achieved without the valuable expertise and active role of leaders like our members. We are immensely grateful to our member institutions and their constituencies for their continuous support and enthusiasm in opening the doors to new possible ways of improving the educational opportunities and innovative options in higher education.
